Information You Submit in a Search
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results; this site does not keep a copy of that search on its own servers. If you send a message, we receive the details you choose to include and use them to respond.
Routine Technical Logs
Our hosting provider may record ordinary server-log details such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time of access. We review those details in aggregate to maintain the site and understand which pages are useful. Cookies or related tools may be used for basic analytics or, when applicable, advertising measurement.
How We Use the Limited Data
The purposes are to operate the site, resolve technical problems, measure traffic, and improve the pages. We do not sell visitor lists or construct an individual user profile from this information.
External Portals and Search Services
Links may take you to San Bernardino County ARC Official Records, the Superior Court CAP portal, the Town of Yucca Valley NextRequest system, library collections, archives, or third-party search tools. The provider's own privacy policy governs information submitted there, not this policy. Sponsored results are supplied by an outside company and are subject to its practices.
Who May Receive Technical Information
Hosting and other service providers may process server logs while supporting the site. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. We disclose information when valid legal process requires disclosure, and otherwise limit it to the purposes stated here.
Security and Retention
The site uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for as long as the operational purposes above require. Because this site has no accounts, it does not hold a password or user profile for an attacker to obtain.
People Under 18
This reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if a minor may have sent us information, use the Contact page so we can review and delete it.
California Privacy Choices and Official Records
Where applicable, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, Civil Code Section 1798.100 et seq., may provide qualifying consumers with rights to know or access, correct, delete, opt out of sale or sharing, and limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, subject to verification and exceptions. Because this site keeps very little, a request normally means checking the contact mailbox and relevant logs; use the Contact page to ask. Those rights do not give this site control over official records held by San Bernardino County, the Town of Yucca Valley, the courts, or another custodian. A request for an identifiable Town record follows the California Public Records Act, Government Code Sections 7920.000 et seq.; the ordinary determination period is 10 calendar days, with a possible extension of up to 14 days under Section 7922.535. Vital-record access remains subject to Health and Safety Code Section 103526, and confidential marriage records are limited by Family Code Section 511. Eligible people concerned about address exposure can review California's Safe at Home program under Government Code Sections 6205-6216, which does not automatically erase an address already present in a public record.
Policy Revisions
When this policy changes, the revised text will appear on this page. Continued use of Yucca Valley Residents Directory after an update indicates acceptance of the new version.
